Our scholarship application period will be open January 1st 2024 through March 31st 2024.
Applications must be ONE submission (zip file, email, or envelope) and be received via email or post marked no later than March 31st 2024.
The maximum amount of each scholarship is up to one thousand dollars per recipient ($1,000.00).
SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES
~SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION~
The maximum amount of a scholarship is up to One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) per person.
~Must be a CURRENT resident of the Anchorage Municipality or Matanuska-Susitna Borough with proof of residency required.
~Applicants may be any woman seeking additional education from:
1. Accredited Institution
Needs a Letter of Acceptance from intended accredited institution / enrollment in course of study which leads to a degree or certificate (college or vocational school).
Please include Student ID#.
A scholarship for education with an accredited institution to be paid directly to the institution on behalf of the student.
OR
2. Vocational Training
This Scholarship may be applied toward course and course materials, education and training only. The Scholarship will not be awarded for costs and expenses associated with travel for the educational opportunity.
If selected as a recipient of a vocational training scholarship, scholarship award to be reimbursed directly to the individual upon proof or payment of training
Your application MUST INCLUDE:
a. COMPLETED application form
b. Personal Statement of 2 pages or less.

c. Two current letters of recommendation that include sender's signature and date.
d. Letter of acceptance from accredited institution or program.
The Awarded Scholarship must be utilized by December 31 of the awarded calendar year.
Scholarships shall be awarded without regard to race, national origin, age, or religious affiliation.
