Meet The Team
Kristen King
President
Hello! My name is Kristen King, and I am excited to be your CERWIB President! I was born and raised in Alaska and currently live in Chugiak. I am a wife and stepmom, and my family is without a doubt my favorite thing in the world! I'm a Licensed Esthetician and own Honey Bee Beauty located in Chugiak. I enjoy the outdoors, going on family adventures, and serving my community.
I have been involved with CERWIB in various ways for the past 8 years; from starting as a member, to serving a general board position, to Vice-President, and now President! I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed what CERWIB has brought to both my professional and personal life. The connections and friendships I've made have been so fulfilling, and I have loved getting involved with the board and committees.
CERWIB has helped me learn to flourish as a business owner, and the education and networking opportunities offered to our members have brought me so much joy. I love seeing our members connect and learn from each other, and empowering fellow female business owners with education and tools for success is so thrilling. I'm so excited to work with this organization in a leadership role, and work with our board to make CERWIB amazing! I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event!

Once upon a time there was a girl whom had two beautiful children very, very, young. So, to take care of them she worked in all positions at restaurants over the years ranging from server, to general manager, eventually to become a district manager of multiple restaurant's. Which is all well and fine for a resume, but the amount of hours to run a restaurant at any given time is a minimum of 60hrs a week, and as we all know, time is a currency we can only spend once. She then delved into the world of mitigation, learning all aspects of the trade for years. And then, After a full evaluation of how her time that was being spent on others over the years, making other people millions, it was decided, it was time to make our own generational wealth. And as she can now dictate where her time is spent. She is looking to make it count. In the local community, and in then future on a broader scale as she moves forward. The future is looking bright.
