As life-long Alaskans, Lillian and her husband, Richard, have “A BUSINESS FOR EVERY SEASON“. They own and operate a three-generation commercial fishing business, Comset Fisheries, provides the Alaskan Wild Salmon and Spot Prawns directly to the consumer. Lillian is glad their family is able to “fish for the people” who choose not to or are unable to get their own seafood.
Personal Word Processing is what Lillian enjoys greatly as it allows her a creative outlet, having evolved from resumes/word processing to brokering for printing of business and social materials and now includes photo scanning and digital support services.
Lillian is a strong supporter of local businesses where she has served many non-profits in addition to working on the CERWIB board, assisting with events and on the following committees: Marketing/Publicity/Communications Committee, Scholarship Committee and Technology Committee. As the group's past secretary for almost 5 years, she is an active administrator of the Facebook Page/Group site.
As believers in small business, Lillian and her husband are part of these organizations that help with the continued livelihood of their businesses from the national to state and local level: NFIB – National Federation of Independent Businesses, NASE – National Association of Self Employed, UFA – United Fisherman’s Association, KPFA – Kenai Peninsula Fisherman’s Association, ATA – Alaska Trappers Association, South Central Chapter, NRA – National Rifle Association, CERCC – Chugiak/Eagle River Chamber of Commerce, and CERWIB – Chugiak/Eagle River Women in Business.
My name is Teena Woscek and I am the new treasurer for CERWIB. I love challenges and this position is no different. In the last two years I have taken on a new career as a real estate agent with Partner’s Real Estate in Eagle River. Most recently, I have started another business from my home as an Independent travel agent. Many may know me from several retail positions around the area, so be sure to give me a call and ask me about my new businesses!
I married the love of my life in 1982 and over the next several years, the Air Force moved us from Grand Forks, ND, to Oscoda, MI, to Tucson, AZ. In 1991 we were transferred to Elmendorf AFB, Alaska (now JBER). In 1999, we were officially a retired military family after 22 years of service.
I have been a member of the Anchorage Concert Chorus for well over 15 years.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Business/HR in 2013 and in September 2016 received my Master’s degree in Business/Office Administration, both from the University of Phoenix online program. I am also a certified Notary for the State of Alaska.
My past career endeavors include the travel/airline industry, office management, and management positions in various areas of retail sales that will all blend well for my newest career changes. I am ready to embrace Alaska’s Last Frontier with great service to all my Alaska clients and friends. My motto is simple: "Set your goals HIGH and don’t stop till you get there!"
